Experience and Background:
25 years ago I came to yoga to balance out my athletic endeavors. My body served me well over the years, and I’m grateful for that. It’s endured my passion for skiing, running, cycling, swimming, hiking, weight lifting and anything else that met my quest for adventure. Yoga always helped me “get the kinks out”. I followed Ashtanga and then a longer period practicing Kundalini, which introduced me to more meditative practice that I had not experienced before, and began to truly appreciate.
When my Kundalini practice waned, I was looking for something that met my desire for a physical practice and yet still provided the spiritual and meditative element. As fate would have it, Avita Yoga perfectly manifested into my life. It was recommended to me by several of my men and women friends, so why not give it a try? I loved it and was hooked after the first month! It’s amazing to me how each Avita class delivers just what I need.
